Rope as material for structure (suspension bridge, suspension ceiling, stay, etc) has become very popular. Especially the use of ropes in suspension bridges is very distinguishable. In addition to being used for general purpose during construction, ropes are used in cat-walks used while installing the main cables, as hanger ropes of main cables connecting the towers, as wind protection rope, as wind protection support rope and as hand rope for main cable maintenance after construction, etc.

Precise length measurements
Ropes with fiber core should be avoided as suspended structure application due to high elongation and vulnerability to corrosion. It is always more wise to choose rope with biggest outer-most element wire as possible.
